Releasing this month , this pocket PC phone from O2 is equipped with a slide-out QWERTY keyboard, which, as in the case of most devices of this type, will make messaging as well as document editing easier and more convenient makes sending and receiving messages a breeze with the slide-out QWERTY keyboard. With its built-in Wireless LAN and Intel XScale® PXA 270 Processor you'll be able to transfer files and messages easily, wherever you are. Equipped with Windows Mobile® 5.0 the 3G-enabled Xda Zinc makes video calling, messaging and surfing the web faster and more reliable. With such impressive features, the Xda Zinc is the absolute communication tool.

The handheld runs on Windows Mobile 5.0 - so expect all the usual software to be included - and sports a faster processor, Intel XScale PXA 270 at 520MHz. If video calling and faster web browsing is important for you, than the XDA Zinc will provide that as well, being 3G-enabled.

Add a 2.8 inch 65k color screen with a 320 x 240 resolution, 2 megapixel camera and VGA camera for video call, 64 RAM, 128 flash ROM and MiniSD card slot for memory expansion and you'll get a pretty great handheld, that can pretty much do it all; maybe not as well as the HTC Hermes, but certainly enough to be appreciated for its features.

For connectivity, the tri-band 900/1800/1900 MHz XDA Zinc features WiFI, Bluetooth, IrDa and miniUSB and comes with GPRS and 3G support, but not EDGE. It measures 109x58x22.6 mm and weighs 175 grams and will work for up to 220 hours on standby mode or 5 hours of talk time.
