Rumored: Expanded HTC Product Lineup for 2007

The HTC lineup for 2007 will obviously continue to attract interest as new models continue to make waves throughout the PDA world. Rumors about their latest mobiles are now abundant.

With no official notification from the world's leading provider of Microsoft Windows Mobile powered devices, the rumored HTC product portfolio for 2007 now include:

HTC P5500 (HTC Nike)
HTC P6500 (HTC Sirius)
HTC S730 (HTC Wings)
HTC P4550 (HTC Kaiser)
HTC P3450 (HTC Elf)
HTC S420 (HTC Erato)
HTC P6300 (HTC Panda)
HTC P3400 (HTC Gene)
HTC S710 (HTC Vox)
HTC S630 (HTC Cavalier 100)
HTC P3350 (HTC Love)
HTC Advantage X7500 (HTC Athena)
HTC S320 (HTC Monet)

The rumored HTC "Nike" is said to be available this fall in HTC-branded trim, rolling deep with a 400MHz Samsung core, 128MB ROM / 64MB RAM with microSD expansion, integrated FM tuner, Bluetooth 2.0, a 3 megapixel cam, and a 2.6-inch QVGA touchscreen. Best of all, it'll pack GPS and industrial-strength data via both 802.11b/g and HSDPA (no word on bands, though), and a Windows Mobile 6 Professional OS.

The HTC P6500 (HTC Sirius) is supposed to have quad-band GSM/GPRS/EDGE support plus 3G and Wi-Fi and would be powered by a 400MHz Samsung processor. Running on the Windows Mobile 6 Professional OS, and a 3.5" 65K TFT display with a QVGA resolution . The HTC P6500 (HTC Sirius) would also be equipped with a 2 megapixel camera. The HTC P6500 (HTC Sirius) is expected in August 2007.

HTC Erato is supposed to be powered by a 400MHz Samsung processor and Windows Mobile 6 Standard. It should also come equipped with a 2.4" 65K colors TFT display with a QVGA resolution. The HTC S420 (HTC Erato) would have quad-band GSM/GPRS/EDGE support plus 3G/HSDPA-enabled telephony. An FM radio, a microSD memory card slot, a 2 megapixel camera and the integrated Sirf Star III GPS receiver add nicely to the picture. The HTC S420 (HTC Erato) is expected in April 2007.

The HTC S730 (HTC Wings) would be the possible successor of the HTC S710 (HTC Vox). It would feature the same dual keypad design as the S710 but will be powered by the more powerful Samsung 400MHz processor and would again run on Windows Mobile 6 Standard. As far as connectivity is concerned it comes with quad-band GSM/GPRS/EDGE support plus 3G and HSDPA and Wi-Fi. It would also boast a 2 megapixel camera and an integrated Sirf Star III GPS receiver. Basically the only thing that would separate it from being a fully-fledged PocketPC is the lack of toucscreen capability which is not a necessary bad thing since many users prefer to do without a stylus. The HTC S730 (HTC Wings) is expected in July 2007.
